BUILDING MANAGER
Class III, Step 1 - $13.00/hour
Must be able to work one of the specified shift hours every week. Due to shift and business needs, you may be
requested to change your work schedule on occasion in the event that another Building Manager cannot make their shift.
Shift 1: Monday 4:00pm -11:00pm & Tuesday 4:00pm- 11:00pm
Shift 2: Wednesday 4:00pm – 11:00pm & Thursday 4:00pm -11:00pm
Shift 3: Friday 4:00pm – 11:00pm & Saturday 7:00am – 4:30pm
Up to 20 hours per week.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prior work experience requiring supervisory skills is recommended.
• Background in Student Center operation and / or student activities is desirable.
• Must have the ability to supervise and direct peers, work independently under minimum supervision, be able to interpret and carry out Student Center policies.
• Ability to reason logically, draw valid conclusions and make recommendations.
• Ability to participate in-group meetings, clearly express ideas and suggestions.
• Maintain cooperative working relationships with students, faculty and staff.
• Dependability and willingness to assume and carry out responsibilities needed.
• Available evenings and weekend shifts.
• Must be a current SFSU student enrolled in a minimum of 6 units.
