STUDENT TECHNICAL SERVICES MANAGER
Class III, Step 1 - $13.00/hr
20 hours per week

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Create weekly work schedule for Technical Services employees.
• Hire, train, and supervise Technical Services employees.
• Attend weekly meetings and assist with the annual production services budget.
• Responsible for maintaining equipment inventory
• Meet with clients in regards to scheduled events within the building.
• Supervise Technical Services employees during the setup of the events.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Equipment operation and maintenance experience, including sound reinforcement, video, general audio/visual systems and equipment
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Experience in personnel supervision, previous management preferred
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines with constantly changing events.
• Must be enrolled at SFSU with a minimum of 6 units
• Must have a 2.5 GPA to work over 20 hours per week (will verify)
